The CPH:DOX International Film Festival in Denmark is hosting a controversial event, focusing on political issues such as politics, censorship, and AI. The Danish festival expanded its industry offering to include a summit program inviting global thinkers, politicians, decision-makers, researchers and doc professionals. Head of industry and training at CPH.DOX Mara Gourd-Mercado said having a wider pool of experts at the festival last year "added a lot of value" to the event. She also highlighted the importance of linking documentary filmmaking and journalism, given that the link has always been part of the festival’s DNA. The festival will be held between March 16-19.
