The Baltimore Ravens head coach, Jesse Minter, has been praised for his defensive prowess, particularly by veteran linebacker Trey Hendrickson. Hendrickson, who played only seven games for the Cincinnati Bengals in 2025, was sidelined due to a core-muscle injury that required surgery. Despite this, Minter is expected to incorporate Hendrickson's skill set and other top pass-rangers in his defensive line. The team's use of the modular 3-4 formation is not unfamiliar to the Ravens, but the team hasn't had an edge rusher as renowned as Hendrickson since Terrell Suggs.
