British AI lab, Ineffable Intelligence, has raised $1.1 billion in funding to develop an AI that learns without human data. The company aims to create a "superlearner" that can outperform large language models. The funding round was led by Sequoia Capital and Lightspeed Venture Partners, with participation from Index Ventures, Google, Nvidia, and others. If successful, Inefable's superlearner will discover all knowledge from its own experience. The firm joins a growing list of AI ventures founded by top researchers, including AMI Labs and Recursive Superintelligence.
