The launch of SNL UK is set to begin on Sky Sketch Show on Saturday, with lead producer James Longman praising the cast of the Universal Television Alternative Studio UK and Broadway Video show's young cast. Longman, who is also the exec producer of The Late Late Show with James Corden, explained that the cast had undergone a rigorous selection process, submitting a five-minute tape, a live showcase, a silent studio audition, and another five minute performance. The audience was given a sneak peak of the production's behind the scenes footage. The show will launch on British channel Sky One and Peacock in the US.
