The 2026 men's college basketball coaching carousel has already begun, with over 20 jobs already announced changes, including four power-conference positions. Despite this trend, some programs at the low and mid-major level have opted to stay with their coaches. Boston College's Earl Grant was fired last week, and several names have been linked to the position. With Damon Stoudamire out, Belmont's Casey Alexander and Troy's Scott Cross have the most perceived momentum for the opening at Tech. Kansas State's Jerrod Calhoun is considered the frontrunner for the position, but could wait until the roles become vacant. The remaining days could be busy for Arizona State, Cincinnati and Pittsburgh, with potential decisions on their futures yet to be made.
