A shooting occurred at a funeral repast in Detroit on Friday, February 27. Two people were killed and two others are injured. The shooter opened fire in a parking lot near the J5 Legacy Event Center. About 100 people were present at the event. The victims were identified as a woman in her 20s and a man in his 30s. Police have not yet disclosed the motive for the shooting. The Detroit Police Homicide Task Force, including the Michigan State Police, the FBI, and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF), is leading the investigation.
