Wind energy producer EDPR's recurring profit rises 9%, beats expectations

Wind energy producer EDPR has reported a 9% increase in recurring profits, largely due to lower European electricity prices. The company's revenues remained flat at 591 million euros, with North America accounting for 59% of output and Europe for 29%. The company operates in 28 countries across Europe, Asia and the Americas. It also noted that its core operating expenses have decreased by 11% from the previous year.
