Balendra Shah, former mayor of Kathmandu, has been sworn in as prime minister of Nepal, becoming the first Madhesi to lead the country's government in decades. According to party officials, he will be appointed under an internal agreement if the Rastriya Swatantra Party purchases Licensing Rights.
