Senate votes to fund most of DHS

The US Senate has approved a funding package that includes funding for most of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) but does not include restrictions on immigration enforcement. The deal was unanimously approved without a vote. This move comes as President Donald Trump prepares to sign an order directing the Homeland Security secretary to immediately pay the Transportation Security Administration (TSI) agents.
