Toll booth recycled to preserve a 'piece of history'

An old toll booth has been donated to Saltash United Football Club as a new ticket office. The donation was made to preserve a small piece of Tamar Bridge history. The club already had one of the older-style bridge booths from when they were last upgraded about 20 years ago. The previous generation of toll booths were removed and replaced after about 15 years of use, the last of which was moved in 2025. The booth now sits prominently at the front entrance of Saltash Ut's Kimberley Stadium.
