Anchorage man sentenced to decades in prison for killing 1, injuring another in 2018 shootings

An Anchorage man, 32-year-old Dashawn Street, has been sentenced to 88 years in prison for the murder of Fa'avae Seau and attempted murder of Donald Wells on September 29, 2018. The shootings occurred in separate incidents in Mountain View and South Anchorage. Street was arrested a week later on charges connected to the shootings. The current prison sentence is 12 years less than what prosecutors recommended.
