Motorcyclist killed after vehicle makes unsafe lane change on Hwy. 99 on-ramp identified

The California Highway Patrol has identified the motorcyclist killed in a collision on the Ming Avenue on-ramp to Highway 99/58, identified as 39-year-old Manuel Hernandez Jr. He was riding a 2025 Kawasaki KX350 motorcycle northbound on Highway 99 to the westbound Highway 58 transition road at an undetermined rate of speed. The vehicle crossed a solid white line and caused the Kawasaki to collide with the left side of the vehicle, causing it to be ejected and subsequently hit by multiple vehicles. No alcohol or drugs were considered a factor in the crash.
