“My favorite city in the world:” Pedro Pascal declares his love for CDMX

Chile American actor Pedro Pascal has endorsed Mexico City as his "favorite city in the world" during a surprise visit from Mexico City Mayor Clara Brugada. Pascal was on set filming for his new movie, "De Noche," which he replaced actor Joaquín Phoenix in the lead role after Phoenix unexpectedly quit in 2024. Brogada praised Pascal as "one of the great Latino icons of the audiovisual industry" and expressed the city's support for Pascal's project. The production of the movie in Mexico aligns with President Claudia Sheinbaum's support to the movie industry.
