The Wallingford Police Department received a call about a single-car crash on March 30, which involved three people trapped inside. The first patrol officer arrived at the scene and used a fire extinguisher and a neighbor to extinguish the flames. All three occupants were transported to hospitals for treatment. The South-Central Connecticut Regional Traffic Unit was called to investigate the accident.
