A strong cold front is moving south across Central Florida, with an 80 percent rain chance for the coming days. The biggest threats to these storms will be wind gusts up to 60 mph, frequent lightning, heavy rain, and hail. The most intense storms are expected to occur between 3 p.m. and 6 p., with the most intense being from the I-4 corridor. The front will move in the afternoon, followed by a shift to the northwest, bringing in much cooler air. The temperatures will only reach around 60 degrees by the end of the day, with temperatures expected to reach the 80s across much of the area before the cooler air arrives.
