Touch Girl Apple Blossom, a band formed in 2022, has been hailed as a "Pure Pop Community" by The Austin Chronicle. The band's first single, "The Springtime Reminds Me Of…” was released by K Records, an Eighties-born independent label founded by Beat Happening. The debut album, Graceful, is set to be released on May 15 via Perennial and K Records. The 10 tracks include raunchy, distorted rock licks and cathartic punk-ish fills from drummer Daniel Powell. Despite their extensive scene accolades and lifelong music careers, the band's music has roots in the DIY scenes of the Eighties and focuses on fun and connection rather than perfection.
