SF Giants bringing Ron Wotus back into coaching fold

Ron Wotus, a former Giants assistant from 1993-2021, is returning to the team's dugout after retiring after the 2021 season. He will be working in the home dugout this season and possibly on road trips as an NBC Sports Bay Area analyst. Despite retiring after 2021, Wotuss made a few dugout appearances under Bob Melvin before Tony Vitello's arrival this season. Wotu and Vitellan, who are currently the Giants' official bench coach, have been described as a "big part" of the organization.
