The New England Patriots are reportedly planning to release wide receiver Stefon Diggs when the league year begins. Diggs, who signed a 3-year, $63.5M contract last summer, was named Comeback Player of the Year last year with the Patriots. He also served as a witness to two criminal charges against him, including strangulation.
