Carrie Vera Gutierrez, owner of "Blessed Sweepstakes", has been arrested in connection to an illegal gambling bust involving dozens of gambling machines and multiple workers. The Bexar County Sheriff's Office Organized Crime Division seized approximately 50 video slot machines, $5,445 in cash, and other gambling equipment. The business reportedly paid out winnings exceeding the bets placed, which investigators believe is consistent with illegal operations.
