The 90s was a decade of hip-hop, with many iconic artists and groups emerging, but these three artists who deserved more recognition than they did in their prime. Craig Mack, one of the first hip-honest artists on Bad Boy Records, gained fame for his single "Flava in Ya Ear" but was overshadowed by the release of the remix later that year. Onyx, a hardcore hip hop group formed in 1988 and later released their debut album in 1993, which peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard 200. Robin Allen, known as The Lady of Rage, made her debut in the early 90s for features on Dr. Dre's The Chronic and Snoop Dogg's Doggystyle.
