Reno police have arrested 25-year-old William Mitchell, who is accused of stealing $22 worth of merchandise from a 7-Eleven store without paying. During a struggle outside the store, Mitchell allegedly produced a firearm and threatened employees with it. He then drove away. Mitchell was later located in the 700 block of N. Virginia Street and taken into custody. During the investigation, police found 22-year old Anthony Jones in possession of a firearm, which is prohibited from possessing firearms, and he was also charged with robbery with a deadly weapon, assault with a weapon, and possessing a concealed weapon without a permit.
