Texas U.S. Senate candidates still undetermined after primary

The Republican and Democratic nominations for the Texas U.S. Senate race were still undecided after the primary, with incumbent Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) facing state Attorney General Ken Paxton (PAG) in a runoff after neither candidate received more than 50% of the vote in the primary. A third candidate, Rep. Wesley Hunt, also appeared on the ballot. The Democratic primary between state Rep. James Talarico and Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett remains uncertain due to a voting dispute in Dallas County, where some voters were confused about where to cast their ballots.
