NBA commissioner unsure if T-Mobile Arena could host an NBA team on full-time or temp basis

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver is unsure if T-Mobile Arena could be an adequate fit for hosting an NBA team should the league choose to expand to Las Vegas. Silver, who has attended several hockey and basketball games at the nearly 10-year-old facility, stated that there are several factors in play on whether the arena could host an NFL team along with the NHL's Vegas Golden Knights. The NBA is currently exploring Las Vegas and Seattle for expansion of the league. The expected expansion fee for an interested ownership group is expected to be between $7 billion and $10 billion. Two ownership groups have expressed interest in owning a Las Vegas NBA expansion team.
