Arkansas Game and Fish Commission reaches milestone in five-year Lake Conway project

The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission (AGFC) has reached the halfway point of their five-year Lake Conway project by completing most of their primary spillway, a passive concrete water-control wall that holds lake water at a normal level. The AGFC used a special design called a "sawtooth style spillway" that allows water to fall over either side of the spillway. The next step is to continue working on the secondary gated structure. The project is on schedule to finish by September 2028.
