The library branch in Savage, Maryland, was closed for two days due to repairs after employees reported falling ill with carbon monoxide poisoning. The repairs were made after a diagnostic test revealed two units in the HVAC system needed additional parts. The county has scheduled an eight-hour testing by an independent industrial hygienist. If necessary, the branch will reopen on Thursday.
