Jovan Jones, 33, was being sought in Riverside County regarding a domestic violence incident that allegedly occurred in Calimesa. Following a police chase, Jones allegedly led deputies on an 8-mile stretch along Highway 38 before abruptly pulling off the vehicle. Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department arrived and used a drone to assess the situation. When Jones was unresponsive, they discovered he had a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
