4-year-old dead; Georgia man charged after chase, SWAT standoff

A man is facing a murder charge for the death of a 4-year-old child in Richmond County, Georgia, following a late Friday night incident. The child was found unresponsive with visible injuries at a home in Hephzibah, where Collin Aaron Aber, who was in the care of the child at the time, had allegedly left the scene with another person. After a traffic stop, authorities attempted to arrest Aber after he led them on a chase which led to a violent encounter. The home where Aber allegedly forced his way into was later identified as belonging to Aber's father. The investigation is ongoing.
