The Strait of Hormuz is fully open to commercial vessels and will remain open indefinitely, according to President Trump. He also announced that Iran has agreed to never close the strait again and will not use it as a weapon against the world. The president stated that the "naval blockade will remain in effect" until a final agreement is reached with Tehran. Iran has also agreed to recover a large quantity of nuclear material buried under the three Iranian nuclear sites bombed by the US in 2025. The deal with Iran is separate from current negotiations with Lebanon and is not tied to Lebanon.
