Iranian man, Amirhossein Hatami, has been executed for participating in an attack on a classified military facility during recent unrest. His conviction came after his appeal was rejected and the Supreme Court upheld his sentence. Hatami was found guilty of entering a restricted military site in Tehran and attempting to steal weapons and ammunition. The first deputy chief of the judiciary, Haman Gergen, said last month that cases linked to the unrest were being finalized and being implemented.
