Business owners at a shopping center in Stonecrest, Georgia, say low foot traffic is making it harder to keep their doors open. Several storefronts are empty due to crime concerns and fewer customers. Lisa Jefferson, who has been baking for nearly three decades, said a lack of customers has made operating a small business even more difficult. She has started a GoMeFundMe campaign to help cover her costs. Despite some departures, Richard Meulens recently leased space at the shopping center and plans to open a Workout Anytime gym by the summer.
