A ground stop at Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport was lifted following severe storms. At least two people were killed and thousands of flights were cancelled due to the severe weather. More than 170,000 people were left without power as the storm moved north, bringing strong winds and flash floods. Former President Trump cancelled a planned outdoor rally in Iowa after a Tornado Watch was issued for the area.
