The Phillies blitzed Colorado starter Michael Lorenzen for seven runs in the first inning, the most in 34 years of Colorado home openers. Lorenzen was hit by a career-high 12 hits, a record by a single pitcher in a Rockies home opener. The Rockies have now lost eight straight to Philadelphia.
