The Nets lost 141-107 to Atlanta, despite a strong performance from Nic Claxton and Malachi Smith. The loss leaves Brooklyn tied for second in the lottery race and leaves them ½-game behind first-place Washington and two clear of Sacramento. Michael Porter Jr. and rookie Danny Wolf were officially ruled out for the season by Nets coach Jordi Fernández. Despite this, the Nets signed Trevon Scott on a 10-day contract and have upgraded both players' performance. The Hawks have won 19 of 22.
