Float partnered with local charity works on final preparations for Opening Day Parade
Published on March 25, 2026.
The Wieland family, the owners of Wielander Builders, is working on their 11th parade float for the Findlay Market Opening Day Parade in Cincinnati. The float, named "When life gives you lemonade," is designed to raise awareness for Payton's Lemonade Stand, a charity founded by Payton Obert. The family uses repurposed materials and a 35-foot trailer to build the float on. The design is inspired by Obert's lemonade stands and includes multiple stands along a roadway leading to Great American Ball Park. The Wielan family is also considering ideas for next year's float.
