65% of Arizona home listings include HOA fees

New Realtor.com data reveals that over 65% of Arizona homes listed for sale last year had HOA dues, compared to nearly 44% nationwide. Only Nevada had a higher rate of 68%. The fees are more prevalent in the West and South, with condos, townhouses and newly built homes representing a larger share of listings. The increase in HOA fees indicates that the traditional affordability advantage over single-family homes is waning.
