2 Chicago men charged in murder of contractor near United Center ordered detained pending trial

Two men have been charged with first-degree murder and being a felon possessing a weapon in the murder of 67-year-old Chicago contractor near United Center. Nassie Mason and Erving Harris, both of whom were taken into custody after the fatal shooting of 67 year old Jerry Lewis, who had a profound impact on the construction community and West Side residents. The suspects appeared in court Friday, where a judge ordered them to remain detained.
