New Dolphins GM labels extension for RB Achane a 'priority'

Miami Dolphins GM Jon-Eric Sullivan has stated that extending the contract for running back De'Von Achane is a priority for the team. Speaking to local media during the NFL's annual meeting, Sullivan stated that he is not interested in trading the Pro Bowler. Achane, who rushed for a career-high 1,350 yards and eight touchdowns last season, is entering the final year of his rookie contract and has expressed his desire to sign an extension. The running back market may be reevaluated this year with Achane and Jahmyr Gibbs potentially eligible for extensions.
