Roki puts spring shakiness in rear view with solid first start of '26

Roki Sasaki, a 24-year-old right-hander from the Los Angeles Dodgers, made a solid start to the season in his season debut against the Guardians on Monday night. Despite previous struggles with starting and managing his performance, Sasaki managed to limit damage. He struck out four, walked two and gave up one run on four hits. His performance was more promising than any previous Cactus League performances. The most encouraging part of the outing may have been his ability to control damage.
