Kraken rout Panthers to move past Sharks into playoff position

The Seattle Kraken defeated the Florida Panthers 6-2, moving them into the second and final wild-card spot in the Western Conference. Kaapo Kakko and Bobby McMann scored goals in their home debut, while Berkly Catton, Ben Meyers, Ryan Winterton and Jamie Oleksiak also contributed. The win marks Seattle's second consecutive win against San Jose. The Panthers' three-game winning streak was also broken. Goalie Daniil Tarasov made 19 saves for Seattle. The victory was the second consecutive game for the Kraken, who previously won 5-2 in Vancouver.
