The San Jose Earthquakes have started their season with a 3-1 victory over Sporting Kansas City. Jack Skahan scored twice in the second half, helping San Jose recover from an early deficit. Dave Romney scored the final goal in the 75th minute. The win keeps the team's winning streak alive at three games.
