A mountain lion was spotted in the town of Salida, Colorado, over the weekend and was relocated by wildlife officers. The animal was sedated and transported to a more suitable habitat before being released back into the wild. The mountain lion crossed Highway 50 and was seen near the elementary school and jumped a fence at the home of a retired CPW officer.
