The West Indies cricket team is returning home via commercial flights after a lengthy delay from the International Cricket Council (ICC) arranging a charter flight for both West Indies and South Africa. The delay has been attributed to ongoing global tensions and aviation regulations. Some of the West Indies players and staff have already departed, with the remainder scheduled to leave on Tuesday and Wednesday. The ICC has been criticised by players from West Indies, South Africa, for not adequately resolving the issue.
