North Kansas City preps for big crowds at Snake Saturday

The 42nd annual Snake Saturday parade and festival in North Kansas City is expected to attract significant crowds due to the better weather forecast. The festivities began with the Snake Saturday Charity Cook-Off on Friday night and the 5K and one-mile fun run. The race for a cause 5k will benefit Life Unlimited, a local organization providing services, education, and opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. The first place place will receive $1,000. The parade will begin at 11 a.m. The event aims to bring families and the community together for fun and a good cause.
