Severe storms are possible in Indiana on Thursday night into Friday morning. The National Weather Service predicts that a cold front will move in during the evening hours and early hours of the day. Most of the threat should end around midnight, but some areas may have storms lasting longer. The main threat is likely to be large hail, followed by the increasing threat of damaging wind. The threat for tornadoes is low, but there have been eight tornadoes so far in Indiana in 2026.
