The last spring practice for the Texas Longhorns was held for free admission at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin, Texas. Despite not having a traditional spring game, fans were able to see the 2026 squad. Head coach Steve Sarkisian noted that the team is developing quickly and are learning new schemes and developing rapport with each other quickly. Quarterback Arch Manning was absent from the practice due to offseason foot surgery, but Sarkesian said he is 100% ready to go once June arrives for summer conditioning. The open practice was an adjustment from last year's fan day, which did not feature football.
