U.S. senator’s daughter dies from diabetes, other health issues

Madison Warner, the eldest daughter of U.S. Sen. Mark Warner, has died at the age of 36 after a lifetime battle with Type 1 diabetes and other health issues. The senator announced her death in a post on social media. She has been an advocate for affordable treatment of the disease and for research into the disease.
