‘There Are Certainly Other Options:’ Joe Perry Isn’t Calling Time on Aerosmith

Joe Perry, Aerosmith guitarist, has expressed confidence in the band's future of the band, stating that there are certainly other options. He and frontman Steven Tyler, who has since retired from touring following a vocal cord injury and a fractured larynx that led to their cancellation of AeroSmith's 2023 farewell run and their retirement from touring. Perry and Tyler have since recorded an Aerosheed EP with Yungblud, which hit No. 9 on the Billboard 200. The band is currently working on a new Legendary Edition of its self-titled debut album, which includes remastered versions of the album and outtakes from the original tapes. Perry also mentioned that he and Tyler oversaw a remix of 1973’s album for the reissue.
