Tourist accused of bird-napping flamingo at iconic Strip resort – PHOTOS

A Canadian man, Mitchell Fairbarn, is facing animal cruelty charges for allegedly breaking into the flamingo habitat at the Flamingo resort on the Las Vegas Strip and abducting birds. He is accused of four counts of torturing, maiming or killing an animal kept for companionship or pleasure. Despite this, Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Suzan Baucum ordered his bail to remain $12,000.
