President Trump delivered a speech that was the longest on record, but was criticized for being short on reliable information. He demonized Democrats and called Chief Justice Roberts' decision to invalidate his illegal tariffs "unfortunate" and a "disgrace to our nation." He also claimed that immigrants living in the U.S. illegally were murderers, despite data showing that U.K.-born citizens are more likely to be arrested for violent crimes than undocumented immigrants. The speech was riddled with lies and contained inaccuracies about the economy, immigration, and the economy. Despite these claims, unemployment remains low at 4.3 percent and the country's overall approval rating is now six times higher than a year ago.
