Jalisco shines its culinary credentials as host of the Michelin Mexico Guide opening ceremony

The 2026 version of the Michelin Mexico Guide will feature three new states - Jalisco, Puebla and Yucatán. The opening ceremony will be held in Guadalajara, a month before the World Cup games. The announcement follows the expansion of the guide in Mexico, which covered five states in 2024. The event will also reveal new Michelin Star recipients and other honorees. The tourism establishment in Jalisco has used the prestige of Michelin to promote its culinary identity.
